I had the same problem as another park resident, only I was treated so much worse! I used bank by mail at my bank, they sent out my rent payment 2 weeks before it was due, but somehow it did not get to the office. I received a 3 day eviction notice and when I got all my paperwork together to show it was mailed out from my bank on time, I tried to resolve this problem with the office but was told by the office staff that they didn't like me and were not going to help me with anything because of my personality. Now I am stuck in an unsafe environment and I have a 10 year old who is not safe either. The office has all the power and they can make your life miserable if they want, we have no recourse. So now me and my daughter are suck in an unsafe environment, very hostile here, DON"T move here it can happen to anyone they decided they don't like.

I drove the parks in Bloomington, and Heatherwood was the nicest. We helped my daughter buy a home there. The rules help make it a quiet, clean, and safe place to live. I am very pleased with my daughter being there as Management is on top of any problems right away. They allowed her to put up a fence for the kids, and she had been allowed to landscape. All around a very nice affordable place to be. PJB.

I live there. It is clean, quiet, and the management is strict enough to keep it a nice place to live.

I was recommend to this park, and told it was the nicest one in Bloomington. I did not move there because the home I wanted was in another park. Now I wish I had, as I am very unhappy at the other park. Heatherwood is well cared for, and where I am it is not. A friend lives there, and says it is indeed a wonderful place to live. Quiet, clean, and well run. They make everyone follow the rules, which keeps the place quiet and cleaner than most of the other parks. They also sell homes on contract for no interest, which my friend did. Great deal, and I missed out on it by going somewhere else.
