Best Chinese food in town. Eggrolls are awesome. Excellent moo goo gai, sweet and sour shrimp, Grand Special, Beef w/Broccoli!!! Just thinking about their food has me planning on getting take-out tonight. It's like a guilty pleasure I can indulge in every once in awhile. I've got their menu here at home and can plan out what I want while my mouth waters. The beef fried rice is excellent. I'll be bringing that home, with two or three main courses. As another viewer indicates the food is consistently good. I'm not sure I'd recommend lunch as I haven't enjoyed the selection. If I do go to lunch, I merely order egg drop soup, and an order (2) of eggrolls. Very filling, inexpensive and delicious. BTW, can't find better eggrolls, or egg drop soup as delicious anywhere else I've been in Bloomington/Normal. I love the atmosphere as well and the service. Being single, I go for take out merely because I hate dining out alone.

I love the Grand, I have gone to the grand cafe since i was a little girl. I love their food. Even the american fried chicken is the best chicken i have ever ate. I highly recommend this restaraunt.

This is the oldest Chinese retaurant in Bloomington, spanning three generations of the same family and over eighty years. The egg rolls are the best I have ever had. I also highly recommend the Chinese Hot Wings and Sada Steak.
