Used to be much better. We recently ordered a large sausage deep dish. We picked it up and brought it home to eat. Each of us were well into the pizza before we noticed there was no sausage on it. Upon further eating each piece may have had 1-3 small pieces of sausage and this was the large pizza. We called and complained, the owner / manager said he'd made the pizza as it should be but he would make us another. Another hour and we had a new pizza; this one was identical to the first. VERY VERY small amount of toppings. We won't be going back.

It saddens me to go here and to be honest I havent tried everything but to me the signature sub was the Paisano (sp?) Before the old go left YOU COULD NOT GET A BETTER ITALIAN SUB! Got new owners and while they are nice and do try I dont think he schooled them in the art of making a proper Itl. sub. Place also not as tidy, kinda slow on service especially considering me and the kids were the only ones there, and they had the mix wrong on the pop dispenser because it tasted like carbonated syrup not pop. Im sad cause if I was anywhere close to Bloomingdale (I live in Elgin) I would go here. I must say the Italian ice (also the best Ive had) is still on point.



Tidy up, and get back with the old guy on the details. Still a decent place and will try again (everyone has an off day) but it used to be consistently great.



Tip on the sub, dont be cheap with the capicola thats what makes the sandwhich!
