My wife and I decided to use a tax professional this year, as our financial lives had gotten more complicated than in the past, with running a dog rescue, mortgage refinancing, job changes, and a new car. After a recommendation from a trusted friend who has been using Don and Accountax for many years, I decided to set up an appointment.



Don is exactly what you'd want from someone doing your taxes. He knows his stuff in and out and takes the pressure off with his friendly but confident demeanor. I actually enjoyed the tax process this year, and came out owing quite a bit less than TurboTax said. He also found some extra savings from our previous year's taxes, which outpaced sevenfold his fee for amending a tax return. And in early March, his turnaround was about 2 days from the time we gave him the last piece of information he needed. The receptionist also walked me through the returns and vouchers when I came to sign the forms.

After I left TalaTrans Worldwide, which was right across the hall I went into AccounTax to see what kind of Tax Solutions they would provide for my businesses. The Office Manager was so rude to me as I was asking her very simple questions, "Do you offer tax solutions for businesses and consumers?" She told me that they were not interested and walked away.



This company must be reported to RipOffReport.com, there is no way this company can be legitimate. There is no information about this company online. There is no email address to notify the owner, and there is no website anywhere for this business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

Don Piorek and the Accountax staff have a solid operation in Bloomingdale. They give no-nonsense business & accounting advice. I highly recommend giving them a call.
