On 12/28/2018 I purchased a Fiat 500X from Gollings Birmingham, trading in 2 vehicle 2017 Ford Escape (front wheel drive, no gps)
2010 Cadillac STS(All wheel Drive, GPS, older vehicle, unreliable)
I was informed I was getting 14000 for the Escape and 2500 for the Cadillac. Initial quote I was given on the Cadillac was 2000. Spoke with Sale person Via telephone and requested to get 2500, he said "done." I also brought 5000 down. On the sales slip it says 14000 and 5000, so I'm missing where the money for the Cadillac is. Fast forward to less than a month later. On 1/22/2018 Fiat was brought back in for heated seat repair. Drivers side was being controlled by the Steering Wheel and Steering wheel was being controlled by the Drivers side. Passenger side heated seat would only go on after the car was running for a period of time( greater than 30 min.) Car was brought in, I was put in an enterprise vehicle, Dodge Dart.(no gps, front wheel drive- requiring text, talk and navigation via personal cellphone.) Date your service department evaluated the vehicle is 1/24/2018(2 days they had my car.) Contacted on 1/242018 to pick up car and it was fixed. This contact was made in the afternoon, close to your closing time. I know this because I had to rush to get there and pick up my car before closing. Also Print time on Receipt is 5:09pm on 1/24/2018. I did not want to spend more time in the rental as it did not fit my needs.
Please note "Date Promised" on repair sheet I signed is 1/23/2018 by 6pm
1/25/2018(6 days they had my car) Contacted and reported the issue remained the same and no changes were made to the vehicle. Service advised me to bring it back in and be put in a rental car. The issue was video taped that morning and sent to your sales associate. During this texting conversation is when your sales associate told me to "Shut UP." I brought in the vehicle as requested of Service and was placed into another Enterprise Vehicle: Jeep Liberty(no gps, front wheel drive- requiring text, talk and navigation via personal cellphone.) Please note weather was of a rather dissatisfying nature: Snow turning to slush and the tires on this vehicle were bald, which I did report upon it's return. Contacted on 1/31/2018 Informed they replaced the Drives side, but it would take a month for it to come back. I returned the rental and picked my vehicle. Please note "Date Promised" on repair sheet I signed is 1/25/2018 at 9pm. Upon starting my car that day, before I checked to see if any of the switches workd, I started the vehicle and the LOW FUEL light was on. I did take a moment to press all the 3 buttons(steering wheel heater and both front seat heaters) confirming their functionality. I then left to get to the nearest gas station. Not knowing there was one right next to the station, I traveled down Square lake Road towards Woodward. As I came up to Woodward the car started to stall out and then come to a complete stop. A gentleman helped me push the car directly across Woodward Ave. to the Shell station. After fueling the vehicle, I confirmed once again that nothing seemed wrong or any issues were present.
Service did contact me within a few weeks and informed me the part did come in and I could bring the vehicle in and i didn't require a rental, as they could complete the job in a short period of time. This came to be true, the new switch was placed within an hour and i took the car back to work.
3/21/2018 Had someone in my car, passenger seat turned off after 5 min. Service manager and Sales manager contacted me and again, are telling me that I'm doing these things. Including the new message coming up on the screen randomly. Tired of being talked down to by this team. FCA is the only one who has been helpful, at least they listen. So in the words of the Sales Manger in Birmingham, for now "I'll just have to deal with it."

Jesse in service always takes fantastic care of me! He explains any repairs clearly and is very patient with the fact that my toddler is usually with me when I come in. He always treats us and handles my vehicle with the utmost care regardless of whether we have an appointment or not! BAD CUSTOMER TREATMENT! OVERALL BAD EXPERIENCE first off - nobody was there at the front lobby to introduce me to a sales agent. after loitering around the showroom for 15 minutes. I wanted to test drive two cars to compare and decide what to buy. I finally met this gentleman who helped and gave me print outs of information of the cars that i asked for and it was very useful but when i demanded a test drive this gentleman tells me "we can test drive if you are buying it next week and we are not going to drive if you are going to buy it after 6 months" so basically i was rejected a test drive even though they had the models available. You expect me to order the car to be eligible for a test drive??? This shows what a shameful mindset your employee has! I work for chrysler and this is the worst treatment that i could face disgusting! Insulted to bits and pieces i left this showroom never to return, I found another showroom where i test drove 4 cars and booked the one i liked! I I have visited every dealership in MI and Golling - Bloomfield hills, MI is worst dealership in the whole of michigan!!!

service is terrible went in there for oil change and they broke the hose on my windshield wiper sprayer and tell me is no way that they people could have did it didn't have no problem before I went in there try to talk to the service manager he didn't want to talk to me. I hope everybody find another place to take their car that place is a big rip off .

Dishonest and Unprofessional Dealer

We turned in two lease cars one month before the lease expired and chose to lease two new cars. Golling verbally told us numerous times they would take care of the final lease payments on the old vehicles (one payment on each car for about $230) as part of the deal.



One month later we receive a past due notice for the old lease payments. We called Golling thinking this fell through the cracks, but instead sales and management now claim "We never agreed to make the final lease payments", even though the initial paperwork indicated they would do so (they now claim that paperwork was wrong and/or lost). I'm told everyone in management is "unavailable" to help me. Even though we left our numbers and asked for management to call us, the calls never came. This is how they deal with a problem -- they ignore and stonewall you.



The only reason we traded the cars in one month early was because Golling agreed to make our final lease payments. Why would we otherwise pick up a new lease and still make a payment on cars we turned in?



Now we are stuck with a remaining lease payment on two cars that we turned in over a month ago -- and a past due payment on our credit.



Don't do business with Golling. They'll say anything to make the sale, and after you sign they won't live up to their word. They are crooks and liars.

Big liars

If you are looking for people who are honest and have integrity do not attend this Dealership. They have a saleman by the name of Francis that told me I was approved for a car at a certain rate. This salesman not only had me change my insurance policy over to the new car, but also had me contact my current financing company to give him permission to pay the car off. Fast forward 3 days later this same salesman called me only to tell me a few hours before I was suppose to pick up the car to tell me that my credit score rating was not approved at the rate he told me 3 days prior and that my car note was going to be higher. Both his direct manager and genral manager backed him up with this policy and the general manager told me that he did not want to lose $700 dollars over a three year period. The funny thing about this story is if he told me the rate in the beginning I probably would have still bought the car. But the bait and switch deal does not work on everyone, I am just not that desperate!!!!!!!!
