After several attempts (some shops were too expensive or too busy) to find a person to build my updated interior stairrail system, I ended up at Latzke Iron Works. My 20 year old home old and it's spindle-knobby wood stairail screamed for replacement.I had purchased a Charleston Forge (mfg.) 8" wide console table for my hall, and love the metal color and the scale. I wanted the stairail to compliment the design and Latzke Iron Works did this perfectly. As an interior designer I've worked with many local craftsmen, and I must recommend this owner-operated shop. I planning on asking him to build custom flower boxes for my front window...and I would love a new custom wood and iron rail around my deck.
