She has just won the 1rst Annual of AFRICAN AWARD of Washington DC under BEST HAIR BRAIDING SALON CATEGORY. I've been going there for the past 14 Years and my Hair is very Healthy. Love this place she does really good braids and supplies the hair for you is very nice and helpful. She likes to get it all done and looking nice for a reasonable price.

Plus she sells some hats,purses, and clothes from her culture

The shop owner was rude and unprofessional from the moment I entered. I attempted to explain the hair style I was interested in and She actually told me she was very busy. She clearly was not. It was early a.m. the shop was empty and she was sitting behind the counter going through mail. It was almost comical. I said well I can come another time I just want an idea how much it will be, how long it takes etc. She said listen we're very very busy my colleague went to the store and won't be back soon and zi am very busy. At that point I left. Customer service goes a long way with me. And this was just terrible business. I would never go here.

They do different hair styles.(twists, micro, and box braids, dreads & etc) It took a long time, appox. 7hrs, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Cost me $170 for micro. I have thick hair, hair length not to my shoulder. Had to pay for human hair, she referred me to a beauty supply store in the area.
