When you call Autumn Sissons Photography, be ready to answer a few questions.  In order for us to provide you with the most personal service we need to know a few things.  Like, why we will be photographing and what is the occasion?  Whether its a professional headshot, a new baby, cake smash, family or high school senior, each session brings with it its own specifications and we want to get it perfect each time.  After gathering some basic data we’ll answer all your questions and arrange the perfect time to capture the best images and set your appointment.   We just can’t make babies happy if it’s their nap time, so we schedule them earlier in the day.  Seniors on the other hand, they tend to prefer the golden hour just before dark.  The session fee is due at this time. 

We also schedule a pre-session consult.  This can be in your home, our studio or we can meet somewhere.  While it’s less effective, we can do this on the phone or through email.  Meeting in your home is a service we provide that offers the opportunity to further personalize your session and we encourage you to take advantage of it.  We can see where you plan to display the image and choose backgrounds and sets that compliment your home. 

The details of the session, including the time and location(s), are discussed at the above meeting.  However, expect a few surprises as the props and settings come together.  This is where you’ll get your first peek of the personal part of the art.

At the end of the photo session, we’ll schedule a preview meeting.  It’s about two weeks later and you are welcome to bring friends and family.  We’ll start with a slide show and proceed to sort through and complete your order.  This generally takes about an hour, so be prepared. 

About two weeks later – Voila! – there you are, your very own personal piece of art arrives and you love!
