(UHS), has a history as a medical institution dedicated to mental health for more than seven decades. Hill Crest is a fully licensed, psychiatric and residential treatment facility which operates out of a three-story, 88,000 square-foot hospital complex. The medical staff manages separate programs in adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry, adolescent residential treatment programs, and intensive adolescent therapeutic group homes located in Jefferson County Alabama. Our highly qualified staff was carefully recruited to provide the comprehensive treatment that is the key to recovery. Do not under any circumstances place your loved ones in this facility! My son was in this facility for 5 days, and did not seen a therapist or go to any group therapy sessions. He was not offered any tools for dealing with his problems and he felt threatened by the staff and other patients. I have reported them to the Joint Commission, my insurance company and the referring physician. I care about my kids and would never recommend this facility to anyone, let alone my friends.
