One star is one more star than they deserve. My girlfriend and I recently spoke to these rude, inconsiderate, and nasty "associates" in hopes of viewing an apartment we saw online. The phone call started out friendly enough, with us being asked a few questions about out income, pets, etc. We were asked about our dog breed, to which we replied "pitbull", and the conversation quickly went cold. After abruptly telling us that they do not accept pit bulls, we were hung up on when trying to ask another question. We then called back, and the same woman answered. She again was very rude, asking "what else was she supposed to do". At first she refused to let us speak with the manager, and only after a few minutes delay, the manager picked up with the same nasty tone as previously experienced. Needless to say, they were not helpful to us at all.

After seeing the bad reviews on here it made complete sense why we had been treated in such a manner. I'll reiterate from the reviewers before me: THEY ONLY SPEAK MONEY.

These people don't even deserve 1 star. Since day 1 we've had nothing but problems and lies from Sall Associates. Between major electrical issues, leaking windows, crumbling showers, cat feces, and incompetent repairmen, our situation has been horrible from the beginning. They string you along for weeks before they attempt to fix anything, if they fix it at all. They are incredibly rude and when confronted they flat out lie to you.
They prey on students and low-income families, giving just enough to feel like they've done something while using scare tactics to keep there tenants cooperative. I've been told by other tenants that "they have the town in their back pocket". This seems unlikely, but people are too afraid to speak out. I wish I had read reviews before doing business with them as it may have saved us from this abuse. I don't believe they care at all about the people they work with. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Our heat is ALWAYS blasting but we're all freezing. The draft from the windows is absolutely ridiculous, wind easily gets through and blows my curtain a bit. I struggle with whether or not I should put gloves on to watch television in bed. Birds flew into our apartment from the chimney and SALLS did nothing, maintenance guys came 4 hours later - long after we chased the 2 birds out the window ourselves. Some of our basement doesn't have windows, just a wooden board.

Dealt with maintenance call quickly. Gave security back in full because no damage was done.
