Children's Community Center is a parent participation, cooperative preschool - the oldest cooperative preschool west of the Mississippi. We have a year-round, play-based, developmental program, directed and managed by parents in cooperation with a professional teaching staff. Since 1927, successive generations of parents have contributed their time, energy and love to maintain this healthy place for children to learn and grow. CCC's very own alumna and Front Yard teacher, Allyssa Lamb, has been named the City of Berkeley's Early Childhood Educator of the Year!
