Twice we have called Rich to help us with pesky appliance problems. The first time, although the convection/micro was on warranty the appliance store couldn't help us in time and it was just days before Thanksgiving. Rich agreed to come out very quickly! However, later that day the store did manage to send someone out so I called and canceled Rich. The 2nd time, yesterday, I called because our freezer was slowly warming up and there was hundreds of dollars of food at risk. Although they doing house calls due to the pandemic (what is it with appliances, major holidays and pandemics anyway?) he offered troubleshooting measures for us. He saved the day and the frozen goods! Rich, twice you have been right there for us and yet we've never met. Perhaps the third time will be the charm! Thank you!

I've been a homeowner since 1974 and have always used Rich's NW Appliance Repair. Rich is always prompt, courteous, fair and extremely helpful. When I've called for repair he's even called me a few times with suggestions on how I can fix the problem myself. Without incurring the expense of a house call. His prices are very fair and he's honest. He'll let you know if the problem is best not repaired but the item replaced. My parents always used Rich prior for their repairs. My mom had a wash machine that was a one piece washer/dryer combination that the eventually quit making parts for. Rich found a machine someone no longer wanted so my mom could by it for spare parts. Just all around great people that were born and raised in Whatcom County.

Like the other reviewers, I have used Rich for many, many years and have always been 100% satisfied - more than satisfied actually. He is fast, professional, honest, skilled and has fair prices. Highly recommended him.

Rich is knowledgeable, honest & his pricing is usually the lowest in town.I even use Northwest Appliance Repair when one of my renters needs help and I am out of state. Rich has saved us so much money over the years. He's revived some pretty tired machines that I thought were past saving. His prices are great. He's always on time. He has never come across a problem at our home or our rental place,from ovens and dishwashers to washers/dryers, that he couldn't repair. He's the only guy we call!

We've used Rich as our appliance repairman for probably 20 years for both our home and our business. Rich is always honest, is on time, and is very professional. He is very experienced and can usually diagnose the problem in just a few minutes. If it can't be fixed for less than the cost of a replacement appliance, he lets you know. I completely trust his recommendations. The rest of the community must also know how good he is because he is always very busy.
