I had a horrible experience at this salon.

I was asked what my price range was when I arrived, then the upselling started.

We agreed on a number and proceeded.

After an unbelievable 6 HOURS in the chair for a cut and colour I didn't get the colour I wanted!



No apology was made for the excessively long wait, no one acknowledged why I was annoyed, no ammends were offered but they tried to sell me product I had already refused TWICE at the cash. I hate being treated like a dollar sign.

The total was $30 more than I had agreed to pay and I had had enough of it all at this point. I refused to pay the extra. I was treated like a criminal and asked to keep waiting some MORE while the owner was called about the matter. Finally I left the money I had agreed to pay, plus tip (?) and left enraged.



They left a very threatening message on my phone. Customer service is aggressively non-existent. Don't go!

I was interested in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment at this salon because it appears on their website to be $40-65. Knowing how expensive it is at other salons, I wanted to make sure that it was the same thing. Expecting what seems to be the price range on their website and NOT being told how much it would really be, I set up an appointment with Kari for the next day, Wednesday.

When I got to the appointment, I still was not told how much it would be ($200) until I was brought to the front desk to pay after the treatment.

During the procedure, Kari was nice, but hardly talked to me. Instead, she talked with the other hair stylists and every guy that came in. That made me feel very unwelcome.

Also, the back of my head was burnt by the straightener steam during the process. I understand that I have very short hair in the back of my head, but it wasn’t until I squirmed for the 5th time that Kari actually started to do anything about it (blowing while she straightened.)

My hair feels a little softer now, but nothing I would pay $200 for!

As an employee in a service-based business myself, I never complain against services, but I was so unbelievably disappointed both by how I was never quoted the real price before the service and the immature attitude of the stylist(s). I talked to them nicely in person and sent them an email about my disappointments but haven't heard anything. They don't care about there service, or lack there of.

This was the only service I received (no hair cut) so I can not vouch for how well they are for that. I do know that I will NEVER go there again! BEWARE!

A great space in a historical building! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Mikel for waxing - best Brazilian in Bellingham for sure! Reyni is a great hair-sylist and does amazing haircuts. The salon has a great selection of prodcuts and I love that I can book appointments online!
