ABOUT OUR BUSINESS PRECISION INSTRUMENT REPAIR COMPANY was founded in 1977. Our location, then and now, is Bellflower, California. It's principals were former employees of CAHN INSTRUMENT COMPANY in Cerritos, California. We are licensed by the State of California, Food and Drug Administration, Division of Measurement Standards, to repair, calibrate and certify laboratory balances and scales. We repair all major laboratory balance manufacturers in our office and at the on site locations. We use factory parts when available and have Service and Instruction Manuals of all CAHN INSTRUMENTS and most other manufacturers. Our calibration service at our office or on site location is to Clean and Calibrate our customers precision laboratory balances. A Certificate of Calibration and a Calibration Sticker is given with each balance calibrated. Calibration Service Contracts are also available with discounted fees. Our Quality assurance procedures are ISO 10012-122-1, ANSI, NCSL, handbook Z540-1-94. Our Calibration Standards used are the highest quality and traceable to NIST, handbook 44. We sell new SATORIUS, A & D, SCIENTECH and OHAUS balances. We often have used CAHN and other balances that we repair, resell and offer a warranty. We also sell parts for laboratory balances.
