CEF® is an interdenominational ministry reaching children with the Gospel. Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Long Beach is a local chapter of a world wide organization whose purpose is to evangelize and disciple children. We have teacher training and a large bookstore in So. CA offering songs, puppets, and more. The main ministry of CEF is the Good News Club® a home Bible study meeting weekly for about an hour using a flannel board and visualized songs. In the summer 5-Day Clubs® are conducted which are similar to vacation Bible schools but are held in homes and backyards. High school and college students are trained to conduct these clubs in Christian Youth in Action®.

CEF® is an interdenominational worldwide organization composed of born again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living.

TCE will give you practical, hands-on training that will allow you to take your ministry to children to a new level.
Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to teaching children, TCE will equip students with basic skills and effective methods to evangelize children.
In addition to regular course work, two practicum sessions are required to apply the theories taught. Students are also required toparticipate in teaching five children's classes within 90 days of completion of the course to receive a certificate.
Academic credit may be available through various colleges. Students can earn five Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in professional education.

Prerequisites: Born-again Christian, at least 15 years old, willing to participate in the training/practicums required. If you have completed this course in the past you are welcome to join us again, free of charge. Cost of manual maybe required.
