Landlord said we were approved and once my prier lease at another place ran out and left homeless then day of move in with 3 year old told me single mom with 1 kid my income was to high work mesly hours at a hotel

Be warned, Spring Brae Apts. is owned and operated by nothing more than glorified slumlords, a lazy, incompetent manager and only 1 maintenance person who does as little as possible. The grounds are always a mess and the repairs to properly maintain the apartments are neglected beyond belief. The manager misled me into believing that damages left by the former tenant would be taken care of by using the security deposit, but later told me the repairs wouldn't be approved and provided only a vague excuse about "aesthetics".The laundry room is usually disgusting and rarely cleaned. The appliances and electric floorboard heaters are at least 20 yrs old and much needed renovations are left undone. I thought conditions would improve and I was wrong! I've learned that complaining accomplishes nothing, they only want your monthly rent check and obviously don't care what you think, even if you're right. These apartments are owned and operated by nothing more than slumlords with fancy paperwork.
