My experience here was literally a NIGHTMARE. I needed a physical for my university. My mother had seen an advertisement for Dr. Love's office in the local newspaper so I scheduled an appointment for 10:15. I arrived at 10:00 to allow myself time to fill out any paperwork. I have never received any paperwork like the stack that they handed me after my co-payment. The receptionist had already check-marked "YES" on boxes of consent that were unrelated to my visit including expensive services that were to be preformed and charged regardless if I was to be prescribed NARCOTICS. I brought it to her attention back at the desk and she insisted that I needed it. After arguing, she offered to print new paperwork. After approximately an hour, I was escorted to the back by two Valley College students where they proceeded to take my weight and get a urine screen. They were unable to get an accurate weight because the scale was not calibrated. I assisted them with calibration and they recorded the proper weight. I was then handed a specimen cup with no lid and shown to the bathroom. The toilet seat was covered in visible fecal matter and the toilet paper roll was empty. I found a roll in the cabinet. There were no paper towels provided; only a dryer. I really hope that the employees do not use that sink or bathroom. I was then escorted to an examination room where the two students attempted to take my blood pressure with a faulty cuff (BP was recorded after a couple attempts with the new cuff). They then attempted to preform an EKG (why?). The EKG was recorded after they finally got the pads placed correctly. I was then asked questions by a male nurse (or CNA) regarding my diet, exercise and family history around 11:30. There, I waited until 12:30 and was never seen by Dr. Love. I gathered my belongings, left the building and got my physical completed at MedExpress within 45 minutes. STAY AWAY

An unhappy but still loyal patient.

Love Family Practice doesn't care about their patients at all, period. It seems they thrive from a "patients are irrelevant" perspective. No matter what I say I am ignored, argued with, or lied to. Not only do I sit there for over 3 hours every week, I leave to find myself having to call them as soon as I get home because my prescriptions are wrong. This happens way to often. I could understand every now and then, but unfortunately it has become so normal that I don't bother to tell them about certain prescriptions that I normally take like the sleeping pills and sometimes even my blood pressure medication! Also, they change my medication often without even telling me or obtaining the proper verification through my insurance provider beforehand so I end up having to wait days before I can get the medicine.Enough is enough. I'm finding another doctor as soon as possible.
