Long story short: I bought a skid loader in Beatrice NE, and live in IA. I asked Gage County Equipment to get it in working condition for me as they are located 15 minutes from where I was buying the thing. They brought it in and worked with me over the phone to get in all fixed and ready to work. The skid arrived yesterday with a puddle of hydraulic fluid bellow it on the trailer it arrived on and is leaking fluid like crazy. There wasn't a single mention of this over the phone and no attempt to help fix the issue. Obviously the machine isn't in working order so I called Gage to ask what happened. They told me that I had asked them not to fix it (the mechanic told me a different story - that he never saw a leak) and that is why they did nothing about it and then I was hung up on by the OWNER when asking for some of my $989 dollars worth of servicing back. They charged me $989 for a batter change, a fuel change, two ball joint and shock replacement of the hand controls. Dishonest.
