If I could give Dave zero stars I would do that. If you are even considering using his company, run away as fast as you can. I signed a contract with him on 9/13/16 to do a hardscaping project in my backyard that was estimated to be completed by 9/30/16. Immediately after he cashed my check for $6,435 (50% of the total was due up front), it was almost impossible to get ahold of him. His crew didn't show up until a week after they were supposed to, and would work for an hour or two one or 2 days a week (if I was lucky). Dave never showed back up at the job site after I paid him his money (despite me pleading for him to come look at the mistakes and lack of progress) and his crew didn't know many of the details of the job that I had discussed with Dave. They delivered the wrong color and type of pavers and luckily I returned home that day right before they were starting to install! Finally on 11/1 with only a small portion of the job being completed, I told Dave not to return and that I was hiring another company. The new company had to redo most of the work that had been done thus far, and completed the entire job within 10 days. The new company also spoke with the material supplier Dave was using for my job and informed me that Dave had only ordered half the amount of materials my new patio required and that he owed a lot of money to the material supplier (my guess is he used my down payment to cover other back debts and could only afford to pay the supplier for half of my materials). Since 11/1, I have been dealing with Dave trying to recoup my money that he stole from me, always with the promise he is sending a check "tomorrow". If you are enticed whatsoever by his low prices, please keep in mind that your money will immediately be used to pay his back debts and your job won't be completed until he gets funds from a new job to finance it. Also check out his Better Business Bureau rating - it is an "F" and has received 2 other complaints (soon to be 3 with mine)

I have had a horrible experience with Dave's Lawncare. We had patio pavers done 2 years ago. Within a year the pavers on our back steps were coming lose which caused a tripping hazard. We placed numerous phone calls to Dave and we never received any return phone calls. Dave also guatanteed that they would come out and resand areas that need it. Every few months more pavers come lose and more problems arise with the steps.. Repeated attempts to contact him continue to get ignored.
