Formed in 1984, Advanced Aromatics is a leading manufacturer of petroleum-derived naphthalene and the world's largest producer of Tetrahydronaphthalene. Based in Baytown, Texas, the company produces three naphthalene grades, including 78, 79 and 80 degrees Celsius Naphthalene besides manufacturing derivatives Tetrahydronaphthalene, Decahydronaphthalene and a growing line of unique aromatic solvents called Advasol. The low sulfur content in the naphthalene makes it suitable for any application, especially for catalysts, which are sensitive to sulfur and other poisons.
