Always a pleasure staying here. Staff is very friendly. Great atmosphere, Great food in the Hotel's restaurant. Rooms a very clean. Indoor heated pool is so relaxing. Just a great place to stay.

After a terrible day of travel and a mishap with our original hotel reservation we were able to walk into this hotel and we were greeted with friendly staff who got us into rooms for the entire weekend. I was pleasantly surprised as we walked into the building. The manager went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable, and even switched our room assignments after realized the staff member had put us in a room next to an busy exit. The rooms were a bit dated, but they were clean and comfortable. Easy access on and off highway and plenty of places to shop/eat nearby. The only negative thing we encountered was that after putting all of our baggage onto a roller-cart, we realized that there was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor! =\ Otherwise good stay and I would definitely book a stay again in the future.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a hotel that was nearby to recreational activities and the Howard Johnson was perfect for us. There are three mountains within a short drive from the hotel. Along with the location, the Howard Johnson has a great staff. They were courteous and helpful. In addition, the restaurant within the hotel has good, affordable food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to getaway for a weekend and be in the center of the Poconos area.

Indoor pool and restaurant on site serving breakfast and dinner. Room was clean and the air conditioner actually worked!! Right across the street from shopping center and other restaurants. Very close to outlets and casino. Very courteous, helpful staff who know directions and can recommend tourist attraction locations. We will go there again next summer.

The hotel is easy to get to from the highway, and is close to skiing and shopping. The rooms were functional and pleasant, and we found the beds very comfortable. The pool was a good size. The staff was welcoming and nice, and we really enjoyed the restaurant; we happened to be there on "wing night", when the chef, who is a "wingmaster", was offering all of his interesting specialties. The kids loved them. There is also a nice sitting area off the restaurant where you can take a drink and enjoy a fire

Check in was a breeze, I was allowed into my room at 9:30 AM and the lady at the front desk was really helpful. Pool is open from 9 AM-10 PM. The room and bathroom was very clean and lots to do in and around the hotel. My wife and daughter are also EXTREMELY satisfied. Will recomend this to my family
