I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. It's always happy in there, with good music and friendly staff. The smoothies are fresh with a wide variety from Peaches and Silk (peach, strawberry, banana) to mocha madness (a personal favorite with chocolate, coffee, cappuccino and yogurt). As with many smoothie shops, there are all sorts of supplements you can add to make them even more nutritious. There are kid version, too, with the my children never able to decide what they want, whether it's the chocolate chimp and lil lemonberry usually winning out. It's more than just smoothies, however, as they offer wraps, sandwiches, and toasted flatbreads in everything from a Jamaican jerk chicken to Thai chicken or a more traditional turkey. The food is filling, and I can never eat an entire wrap and a smoothie, which means whenever we go we get to share our food - an added benefit for me!
