I can't complain about the workmanship of the shears or the shutters ordered through them. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. First, I was quoted one price to do a cornice and once delivered, the price almost doubled. There was always one excuse or another for delays etc. First attempt to hang the shears, were left hanging very sloppily awaiting the cornice. The other window was hung and also left looking sloppy due to the wrinkling and unevenness, as well as leaving screws out of the brackets etc.I provided the fabric for the cornice, however, even though I knew it might not be enough to cover the cornice for the width desired, I trusted the judgment of the owner to guide me, since I couldn't envision how it would look. Again the workmanship of the cornice was very good,, but there were two seams that didn't match in the middle & the one side is very obvious. Knowing this might be the case, the owner should have suggested the cornice be brought closer to the patio door frame to make the fabric work; but that was never suggested.I called Lynn (owner) to ask if we could come to some agreement to recover the valance, that I would be willing to buy new fabric from her & have them recover it. She outright refused!! I paid her over $3,000. to do my 3 windows and I truly thought we could come to a mutual agreement to make the cornice work. It was very apparent she felt it was all my fault & wouldn't hear of any options, completely ignoring the fact she didn't suggest making the cornice smaller to be sure we had enough fabric to match.Disappointed Barrington customer!!!
