Lake Auto Parts Inc. purchased a salvage vehicle from the insurance company in November 2018. They were invoiced in December 2018. We have been following up for payment since the beginning of 2019 and the company is refusing to pay for it. They have ignored our requested we hired a collection agency to secure payment and they still refuse to pay for the vehicle. The amount they bid on the unit is very small and would think that this company could afford to pay for the vehicle they purchased and picked up but they still to this day refuse to send payment. The business went as far as to spam our company email so they would not get our emails for [payment. I'm not sure how you can continue to run a business if they don't pay their bills. I would not recommend this company. I would not do business with a company who does not pay their bills and basically steals vehicles and then sells the parts to the vehicle so it can not be picked back up.

Been buying parts there for years...great place to save $$$....fuck the haters....they are never pleased.

Went there for a drive shaft ...talked with the guy at the counter, placed the order and was told they would call me when the part was ready. Picked up my part the next day and so far all is good !!
I don't get the reviews people post ? They have BIG signs posted on the wall that pretty much explain their policy. I have bought PLENTY of parts @ salvage yards and I have never seen one that gives cash back...usually its an exchange, anyway I had a good experience with these guys...thanks

I called them trying to buy a transfer case for my truck. i even had the stock number handy, since i had already looked it up on their website.. the guy on the phone seemed confused, and didn't know where the transfer case was.. He said that he would find somebody that knew what was going on, and call me back in 15-20 minutes.. That was 3 hours ago, and now they are closed for the day. I stated VERY clearly, that I needed the part today, so I could install it, and use my truck to go to work tomorrow... Now, I'm losing a days pay because of their incompetence... Save yourself the trouble, and simply go to one of the more reputable junkyards in the area.

DON"T EVER GO THERE FOR ANYTHING!!! THEY ARE RUDE AND RIPPED ME OFF!!!!! They STOLE my money and didn't honor their own warranty!!! They sold me an engine with a guarantee it would work or i could exchange it for another. i asked them to check the timing chain to make sure it was good. they said they did and it was. The engine was no good the timing chain was broken. which means they didn't check anything. they just lied. So anyway they said they'd get me another one. call back tomorrow. so I did. Then it was call back next week. So I did. then another week, so I did. This continued for well over a month. Where they just kept telling me the guy i had to talk to was either, busy, out to lunch, sick, with a customer every time i called. So after a month or so of that i a called one day and they said the man was out to lunch, I asked when he'd be off lunch. they said in like an hour or so. So i called back an hour later then he was supposedly busy. Then i asked to talk to someone else and said it's been well over a month without a car and being put on hold and told to call back. I would like to solve this problem... The mans response was " OH yeah. you wanna be rude... F!@K YOU!! YOU'VE BEEN F^&*KED!!! and hung up the phone!!! LOL So some words to the WISE!! If you enjoy your hard earned money and ACTUALLY getting something you pay for.... HINT HINT.... Don't ever go to this CONARTIST!!.. They cost me alot of $$$ and headaches.!!!! DON"T BE SWINDLED!!! HEED MY WARNING!!! BEWARE!!! I gave them money and NEVER got a working engine or my money back!!!!! even after legal action....!!!!!!!
