Bakersfield SPCA is an animal shelter, located in Bakersfield, Calif. The shelter provides pet adoption facilities for various animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats and hamsters, reptiles, livestock, birds, pigs, and rabbits. The shelter also provides animal care facilities and the HomeAgain microchip pet identification system, a safe and permanent system. When the microchipped pet is enrolled in the American Kennel Club Companion Animal Recovery's nationwide recovery database, information is safely stored until it is needed to find the pet. Bakersfield SPCA also provides various programs, including, foster care, pet assisted therapy, adoption counseling, an animal taxi program, kennel assistance, community education, animal companion program, and various special events.

Provided by YP.comi have four little kittens that need a home they are six weeks old and eating on there own very playful and cute please let me know if anyone can take them in my kids are very concerned that they get a good home thank you.

Provided by YP.comVery clean, but not enough volunteers to help. Animals don't get out of cages unless someone wants to "check them out". More people need to CARE and volunteer.
