Very poor customer service and the mngr. Jessica was rude to my disabled wife with foot problems and called security to make us leave before we got our money back for a pair of ten dollar shoes.I won't shop here ever again and wouldn't recommend the experience there it's not worth the discount. By the way, we gave them the shoes back they wouldn't give us are money back on.

I agree that the customer service is horrendous and lack basic common courtesy. I took my daughter to DB shoes yesterday to look for work shoes. I was holding my 3 month old grandson while my daughter browsed, All of a sudden, I feel this stinging , sharp pain in my right foot.. I look down and seen a slim piece of wood hanging out the side of my sandal. I handed my daughter the baby and pulled out what was a tooth pick. My foot was bleeding.. I went to the counter and no one was there.. while they looked at me, no one ever came to the counter. I limped back to where they were and explained what had happened to me and asked for a Band-Aid.. I was told they have no band-aids.. so I asked for paper towel to stop the bleeding all over my sandal. I was given a paper towel, no apology for the dirty floor or my injury. My daughter worked in customer service for 10 years and told them an incident report should be completed and that I was a diabetic. I was left waiting for 45 minutes till this form could be emailed to them.. After I completed the incident report.. I asked for a copy for my records and was told that they have no copy machine. The young girl (Lisa) asked did anyone else see it happen and I said my daughter. I was told that my witness must be someone not related to me. I asked why? I said I'm not lying.. and I didn't feel the need to put my bleeding foot in others faces or take their name & address. I simply said check your video footage and you will see exactly what happened... I was told someone would contact me today 3/24/2015. I haven't heard from anyone. I hate the way we were treated all the other times before.. but this ripped it for me.

To whom it may concern,

This e-mail regards our experience with the store manager at the Bakersfield location on California Avenue. For clarifications sake as we did not get her name, she is the young - almost anorexic lady with arm tattoos. We went into this location on Friday the ninth at just before five in the afternoon. My wife selected what she would like and we went to the counter to pay. We were behind another customer when both she and the associate helping her walked off. Nothing such as "I'll be right back" or "Someone will help you soon" was said. We waited for about three minutes for someone to help us. My wife remarked loudly "Is this free?" a few times when the manager, who was about ten feet away, asked "Are you ready?". My wife states the obvious "We've been ready". The manager then comes to the register to ring our purchase up. Once given the total (not followed with a please) my wife begins to write a check. The manager states "We don't take checks" (not preceded with an apology such as I'm sorry, but we don't take checks) to which my wife replies "You don't have to be rude". The manager then says "You were rude to me first" and my wife says "I just said we were waiting and ready". The manager replies with something about being a human being but finishes with "If you don't like it, you can leave". We did so.

I have been in customer service for about sixteen years and it is through that occupation that I met my wife who is now a happy stay at home mother of three. Everyone knows the saying "The customer is always right". While not always true, the customer should at least feel that they are right. My wife was not rude, merely sarcastic at the lack of urgency to help us. Knowing that without customers a business will fail and people will be unemployed prompts the mind to realize an obvious basic business rule. Customers are the lifeblood of any business. In past years the only forum for a person like me would be word of mouth or perhaps print. Now, thanks to websites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Yelp I have the opportunity to tell others of my experience.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your quick reply.

Almost two weeks and no reply. Customers are obviously not important to them.

Customer service sucks

Went to go bye 2 pairs of shoes total was $56.42 I gave her $60.45 she said sorry I have no $1 to give you your $3 change. She called another girl and then she asked if I had $1 so she can give me $5 back. I gave her the $1 then she said nvm that wouldn't work either then apologized for not having any $1's. FYI she was using a calculator by me giving her that $1 my change would have been $5.03 not $3.03. I didn't even catch the math tell I got home I just want to leave. The two girls working tonight are so stupid I went to go leave a review on yellow pages there was already 2 of bad service and 1 mentions the 2 same girls that worked to night worst place to go. What store doesn't have change?

Customer service= F-

I called to find out if a particular shoe was in stock as I had found it online. The person that answered the phone said hold on and after 8 minutes I was still on hold. I drove to the store the next day to locate the shoes. Two young girls were both working at 1 register. They were talking amongst themselves like I didn't exist. Since I was purchasing the shoes for my mom in the hospital, I had to get them. Otherwise I wouldn't give my money to a company that employs people like that. There are too many people unemployed that would love to work.

Customer service is the worst ...

Customer service is the worst ever! Inventory is low as best. Common sizes are not available. I will probably never go back.
