Founded in 1977, The Island School provides educational services for students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes social studies, math, language arts and science. The campus includes computer laboratory, library, art room and administrative offices. The Island School also offers extended day care programs. In addition, it conducts several fundraising events, including annual fund, spring auction and fall carnival. The Island School is located in Bainbridge Island, Wash.

Great School All Around

I've had one graduate from this school and my second is there now. The teachers are fantastic, and the whole environment is focused on the needs of the individual students - social, emotional, academics - the whole child matters.

Because K-5 is so important

As good as the public elementary schools are, no school does a better job of preparing children for middle school and beyond than The Island School.
