From the moment I walked into the door until the time I left, I enjoyed everything! The front desk greeted me with a smile and offered me a beverage. My stylist was was fantastic and knew exactly what I was wanting. The 'extras' were a fantastic touch! I received a scalp, neck and shoulder massage. My shampoo was probably the best I have ever had and when we were all done I got a complimentary make-up touch up! Super impressed, and will be back for sure!

I went to this salon and ask for a basic "bob" haircut. It was so crooked that I felt embarrassed to even show my husband. $37 for a cut I could haven't spent $12 on and had as good of a cut. I emailed them my disappointment but no apology nor correction offered. Never again.

I love Nikki. I will not go to anyone but her. When I explain what I want for my hair she always gets it right! She remembers me and that's really nice too! They work with me to get me in with my hectic schedule and that's always great

I won't ever go to this place again. The "professional stylist " ruined my hair for $120. They didn't apologize or refund my money... Worst customer service.

Wonderful salon! Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. I am never disappointed and I'm glad I can have somewhere to go to escape and relax for some "me time".

I purchase product there because they are closer than my preferred salon. However, I am never acknowledged and guest service never has time to hell me with questions or ask about product stock. Disappointed again. I may just stock up when I make the trip to my preferred salon.

Worst salon ever!!! Burned my ears and neck. When I refused to pay for it....owner threatened to call the police. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do NOT risk your hair and skin to this shop!

Before I begin, I want to mention that my terrible experience was with one particular stylist, and the manner in which Rhonda (the manager) "handled" the situation. I cannot speak on the work of the other stylists - so I do not want to discredit their work.

That being said, This place is an Aveda Salon... Therefore, one would expect top notch performance (Lord knows, they charge you enough to expect it). So, I decided to give them a shot, and went in to get a hair cut. What I wanted (and what I specifically asked for) was the most basic of basic haircuts- All I wanted was a trim. My hair takes FOREVER to grow out (and I had mentioned this to her several times while I was in there). I had spent two years growing length in the front, so I would be able to pull off the angled-bob cut. I had finally acheived the look I had wanted, and all I was asking her to do was to clean up the split ends.

I do not know if the stylist was completely ignoring me, or if she is just a flat out bad hair stylist... but I walked out of there with THE WORST HAIR CUT OF MY LIFE. The ONE thing I specifically asked was that she take little to nothing off the front, as I wanted to keep the length I had worked so hard to grow. Instead of listening to very simple instructions, she cut off ALL of my length in the front. I walked out of there with what looked like a mushroom top. I was mortified. I went straight home, hoping that if I showered and styled it, it would look more like what I had asked for... but no, still a mushroom top.

So I called the salon, and in complete tears, I left them a voicemail (they were closed at this point). I told them how upset I was... that I felt ugly just looking in the mirror. I felt uncomfortable enough with the whole experience as it was, so I asked that a manager call me back and set up a time where I could go in there and let them take a look at it to see if they could fix my hair, without having to take much more length off.

The next morning I recieve a return voicemail from Rhonda (the manager), who informed me that she would be willing to get me in with THE SAME STYLIST I HAD ALREADY SEEN (did I not state that I would like to see ANYONE besides this girl??) and that she would look over her work to see if there were any mistakes actually made, and if they could be fixed. (This was word for word what she said to me)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? 1. I asked to see someone new. (totally disregarded this though) This chick already screwed my hair once, why would I want her near me again with a pair of scissors. 2. Her voicemail was utterly unprofessional and just straight up snotty. Let's just put it this way. They hold their noses in the air like they are an Aveda Salon, but their work is sub-par, if not (in my case) terrible.

So in the end... I am out $60... and inches of hair that I had been trying so hard to grow out for years now.

And now the kicker >>..... I AM GETTING MARRIED NEXT MONTH. I spent two years trying to grow out my hair as long as possible to lead up to my wedding day... and all it took was one careless, inattentive stylist... who obviously had an agenda of her own, to take that all away. Thank you Rumors, for destroying my wedding hair plans. And thank you Rumors, for making it quite clear how little you care about your clients.

I have had my hair done alot over the years and I have to say that Marie at Rumors in Avon is amazing. My hair has never felt and looked better. Along with the quality of the services I received, the company was refreshing. Most of the time I never felt comfortable or appreciated as a consumer or person when I had visited other salons, at Rumors it was both. I was treated as a valued customer and received nothing short of wonderful services. A+
