I was happy that they took me in as a client. What disappointed me was the fact that my rate went up from $150 to $200 for box braids. Priscilla told me that it was because of the type of hair that was used. The hair used was $4.99 per pack. Even if they had used 7 packs that does not equal $200. I had a coupon that was for 20% and she stated that there was a discount. Whereas when inquired rates and the coupon before I got there, it was valid. Also, there is a guy in the back. My son had a haircut that need cleaning up. I specifically told him it was a Mohawk. This guy cuts my child's hair in to a box cut and charges m $20. How is a clean up $20. This guy states that is because he had style. Isn't all cuts a style? I have never heard of a $20 cut for 10 year old. And on rip van winkle mode. The ladies were very nice but too chatty. We were told that it was 4-5 hr job. We were there from 230-1040 and couldn't get a discount. This is not the place to go to. And if you do, make sure they sign on a dotted line or you will be taking out a second mortgage for your time and hairdo. I had wanted to go back and get my hair done, but I will not. I feel like I was scammed. No, I was.
