ever since buddy's took over and fired Paul and the crew it has been miserable working with these guys. I make my payments on time, all the time, but get somebody to be nice to you in the store or act like they care about you, it wont happen. They do this robotic "welcome to buddies, would you like a water" then go back to what they feel is more important than connecting with the customer. When I pay off im going somewhere else.....Paul where are you

So, I ordered a sofa & loveseat online in the beginning of December. I was called the following day (back to back all day until I got off work) and was told the sofa set was in store and I need to come down to the store. I went down and was told they didn't have one and I had to wait until the 24th because they had to ship a new one from California. So we waited, the 24th comes and no call so we go in to check just to be told something happened and they forgot to send it on the shipment but the ordered it again and it will be here on January 4th. (Jennifer is the one I'm dealing with here) So the 4th comes and goes and nothing! No phone call no email, nothing!! So on the 6th we call and leave 2 voicemail and don't hear anything back. Finally on the 8th we call the Seattle store and they helped us locate one in Tacoma. They said Jennifer at the Auburn store will help us get that one. So Jennifer calls right after and says the one from California would magically be here tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, no couch! We call, the manager says he forgot his code to get the couch so he will deliver Saturday between 10-12. It's Saturday after 12 and they said maybe later today.



This is our first time doing business with them. I'm not sure why we were lied to. But we are going to Aaron's!

Horrible! Rude! Thieves!

We went in last year when the auburn store was still quality rentals and leased a couch set to own. My husband just hurt himself on the job and we are waiting for L&I to reimburse us for list wages. I get a call Monday from Jessica saying my payment is due. I apologize and tell her the issue we are having financially and ask if there is any possibility of skipping this payment until 12/26. She snickers and tells me okay, well you can come in and see if a manager is willing to okay it. I tell her I am at work and can't make it down. At this point I ask for the payoff amount. She says are you telling me you're making a payment. I say no I am asking for the payoff amount since on11/18 I was told I only owe a full payment and a half before we are paid off. She laughs and says that's not true. So again I ask what is due on it. She replies back again are you saying your making a payment. At this point I am yelling I. The phone as I don't find it acceptable that she won't give me my payoff amount. I hung up on her after asking to speak to a manager to which she says I am the manager! They came to my house today to pick it up, by the way I only owe $150 on this account, and proceed to drive through my front yard leaving huge tire marks. They have also started sending me text messages! DO NOT GO HERE! They are rude and I consistent!!!!!! Go somewhere else. Save your money! Buddy's is a joke and their customer service sucks! I only have them 1 start because I had too!

So, I thought I would share my HORRIBLE experience with your Auburn location this last week in hopes that other buyers will read and venture else where.

To start, I have been a customer with your establishment since it was quality rentals and have always received great customer service. However, since there has been new employees and management customer service has dropped drastically. This last visit has made me change my mind completely about EVER doing business with them AGAIN!!!!

So this last Monday 11/17/2014, my bf and I came in to make a payment on our existing account and we started talking about getting a bedroom set. We walked the floor and found one we wanted and was set up with a delivery date. We also had voiced that our 3 items needed to be serviced and fixed and scheduled this at the same time.

The delivery guys show up at 10am Wednesday 11/19/2014 and we were still in the process of removing our old mattress and box spring. So my bf suggested they could start on the repairs for the existing accounts items while we clear the rest of the stuff out of our bedroom.

One guy proceeds to stand in our doorway still holding the items for the bedroom set, while the other one starts repairing a door on out entertainment center. As the guy is repairing he is continually saying "we don't have time for this." and " We have a more important delivery we need to take care of" and "they are moving too slow." I then have made it clear for the other guy to start bringing in the bedroom set and start setting it up. The guy that was fixing the entertainment center started fixing the leg on my preleased couch that was busted. He removes the leg and reattaches it wrong and causes a huge scratch on my hard wood floor. He then suggests that it was somehow our fault and said "its not that bad." By this time I am very angry and frustrated at the customer service and lack of respect. They finish setting up and leave. I get ready and head to the store to show the manager Mark the scratch and to let him know what happened. He apologizes and says we will take the remaining amount off the couches for you. I was like great, thank you so much and we went on our way.

Then last night at 1:30 am, the bed set collapses with us on it. With further investigation we see that these men that set it up failed to screw the underboards to the frame!!!! It caused the whole bed to fall and destroy the foot board attachment and the underboards stands.

So today 11/22/2014 we went down to discuss the issues we had and the fact that we have an infant daughter that sometimes sleeps with us and what could have happened. The guy Dre was very apologetic and explained along with a colleague that they have had problems with the set we purchased at that they DO NOT want to give us the same set in fear that the same thing will happen. We pick out a completely different set and was told by Dre it would be $127 before taxes per month for the new set (less expensive then the previous broken set) and that they would make the 4 months same as cash equal to the last lease agreement for the broken set. I was like great they see the mistake, see that they messed up and were making it right! NOPE!!!! ALL THIS WAS A LIE AND A WASTE OF TIME! Mark comes out and explains the one we want is MORE expensive then the set we got and that he can replace the broken one with the same model. OK? SO WHY WOULD I WANT THE SAME MODEL WHEN YOU JUST TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE MODEL TO BEGIN WITH? I told them I wanted a refund!!!! They are coming to pick up the bed on 11/25/2014. I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from buddy's again. I will take my business to Rent A Center or Aaron's. I will complete my payments on the stuff I am almost done paying off.

Unhappy customer

When they were quality rentals, the customer service was amazing. Now that they have switched to Buddy's and it is all new people, it had gone down drastically. They may seen nice to begin with but than don't want to work with you when you have spent hella money there. Can't wait till our stuff is paid off. Been a customer for 10 years, spent over $15,000 there and now finances are tight and they worked with us a little, but very rudely, unlike when it was Quality Rentals. Don't recommend them. Go to Aaron's.
