We go there about every 6 weeks to visit our family in Auburn and have always had good food and excellent service. Love the place.

Very nice staff, excellent food and portions, clean dinning area, easy to find. The apple cinnamon french toast is delicious.

It's our Mother's Day tradition. ..breakfast at Awful Annie's in Auburn. They have a cute patio. Perfect spot for breakfast on a warm spring day!

We love this place. There is usually a little wait, but it's worth it. Best fresh berry waffles. Really excellent bloody marys.

I discovered this restaurant when I was on jury duty and learned that it is a great place to eat lunch--their service was prompt enough to enable me to get back to the court house on time.

Classy, healthy and hearty breakfast and lunch menu. I am always surprised by the quality of the menu items. This is the perfect place to bring a lady, your mother, girlfriend, or anyone who enjoys a place of feminine country charm. Men, you will not feel out of place either, big hearty portions and comfortable atmosphere make this place a packed house every day! One of the most adored local eateries, great location in the heart of old town auburn too.

6 Star Restaurant

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I drive from Folsom to eat here-- great outside dining, too. Lots of healthy entrees and many special touches to every menu item. Their bread pudding is worth the drive, give ti a try!

My Fav

Awful Annie's name is the opposite of their food. This is always my wife's and my #1 choice when going out. I grew up in Auburn, and have seen a lot of dining places come and go. The Many Mustard Chicken is great. And unless it's really cold out, I love sitting on the porch and watching old town. Parking in the lot in front is costs money, but I usually can find a place somewhere close by.
