I have studied martial arts for over 20 years and I have never been so disapointed. Their classes are taught by fat laymen who have you spar with children. What a waste of money.

My children were members of Seo's National Karate. I have to admit that there were some positive aspects of becoming members, but, after awhile you realize it is all about the money for Grand Master Seo. After investing a great deal of money on tuition, and tournaments they now have changed the rules to make you buy your sparring equipment at Seo's (roughly about another $300/per child). After much thought and talking to my children (neither one wanted to remain in karate) my husband and I decided not to invest any more money in a activity that they were obviously not interested in. Last week Mr. Garcia from Seo's contacted me to ask why we were not attending class. When I told him it was obvious to me that it was all about the money he hung on me. I guess the policy of "Black Belt Excellent" only goes for the students and not the staff at Seo's. I would never recommend that another parent invest money to have their children attend this school.
