Mixed feelings

Oak Mill has a selection of beautifully decorated cakes. However, beware if you have them write on it --- my classy art deco cake was pretty much ruined when they used a comic-like font to write happy birthday on it. I alerted them to this, and they didn't seem to care. Was disappointing, the presentation of the cake was embarrassing. That said, they have a big selection and you can put together beautiful little pastries for nice gifts.

dissapointed twice

do not order from this bakery two seperate occasions at two different locations had big problems first they were supposed to delivery to my sons baptism reception around noon and i recieved a phone call at 5:55 pm that the bakery is closing in a few minutes and i need to pick up the cake and the owner said they made a mistake that from the mt. prospect location they do not deliver even though the order stated delivery and when i placed the order noone said they can't deliver. so last minute i sent someone from the church since baptism was at 6pm.to pick it up the owner did not assist what so ever even though was not my fault and second time i ordered a cake for my sons first birthday and the order was for 11/06/10 at 10:30am pick up and the girl put 10/30 as the day of pick up recieved a call on 10/31 that cake was not picked up went to location next day and was told cake was donated and i will not recieve a credit or another cake the owner told me that. very rude owner hate the place

Bakery Review

Oct., 29, 2008, approx. 8:40 a.m. I was the only customer the morning I visited this bakery. I purchased a piece of Tirmisu and a puff pastry/custard dessert; $4.30 for both. Both desserts were excellent. The Tirmisu was different than any other version I have previously tried, and the custard dessert was equally wonderful. ######The bakery has a large selection of appetizing, European dessert type items that are very reasonably priced. I spent $4.30 for both items. They also have a 24 hr. return poilicy of you are dissatisfied with your purchase. They accept all major credit cards, except for American Express. ######Employees were not really friendly, but not rude, either; kind of lukewarm. On a scale of 1-10, I give it an 8. This bakery is not remotely close to where I live, but I would definitely return.
