Gus and his team were prompt and courteous when they came out to install my carpeting. I was so thankful to have worked with them because Home Depot measured the area incorrectly, delaying installation for a week. G S Floor Designs worked with me to install just as soon as the carpet came in and I was able to get my home back in order. I would highly recommend them. (I could not say the same for Home Depot).

I took off work for my laminate flooring to be installed by GS Flooring in Arlington Heights. They estimated 2 days. Today they arrived and told me I needed to have asbestos testing and leveling done. which was going to increase the cost substantially. All may be true, I don't know. I'm a dental hygienist, not a flooring expert, but why wasn't this done when they gave me my estimate? The laminate was purchased through the Home Depot in Glendale Heights and GS Flooring is who they use for installation. THe installers who are contracted byGS Flooring told me that this happens all the time. The installers also cut an approximately 8 inch slash into my carpet and bent the metal transition piece between my hallway and kitchen. They also chipped an area of my kitchen tile. Not for asbestos testing....just to look at. This company is dishonest and has not even called me after today's debacle. I am in the process of finding another installer. AVOID this company at all costs. My advice is to find a trustworthy installer first and buy your materials after.
