Canterbury Elementary School, opened in 1950, is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. In addition, it provides Title I programs to students. Canterbury Elementary School s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, science, language arts, English, social studies and physical education. The Los Angeles Unified School District operates more than 100 elementary, middle and high schools.
