Welcome to Hide-Away Self Storage. We have three convenient locations throughout Humboldt County: About Hide-Away Self Storage In 1977 Clint and Susan Hunter planned and developed the storage facility on Giuntoli Lane in Arcata, California. It was expanded several times over the years and currently has over six hundred units. In 2005 the Hunters purchase Arcata Mini Storage on M Street in Arcata. This facility currently has three hundred and forty units and is in the planning stage of expansion in the next few years. In 2006 the Hunters broke ground on their Murray Road Property behind the Big Foot gas station, to build a six hundred and fifty unit storage facility. The project included creating six acres of wet lands next to the storage facility to improve the wild life habitat and set this area aside in perpetuity for future habitat. Being in the storage business for over thirty years, the Hunters have learned and adapted to the needs of Humboldt County residences. Their experience and integrity in business have help build many long term customer relationships and provide a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for their customers
