Founded in 1978, Pecketts' Inc. is a wholesale foliage growing operation, specializing in the production of blooming spathiphyllum and holiday cactus (schlumbergia). The company has approximately 750,000-square-feet of greenhouses on 50 acres of land in Apopka, Fla. It offers numerous varieties of foliage plants, including spath, holiday cactus, peace lily and zygocactus. Pecketts' Inc.'s tissue culture lab is designed to produce spathiphyllum micro cuttings that are used for the company's own production. The company has also developed more varieties of spathiphyllum from its tissue culture indexing procedure.
