I purchased an expensive tree at Daub's Nursery in Annandale, NJ during spring 2009. After a couple of months the tree started dying from the bottom up. Over the course of the year the tree has completely died while all of the other trees in the bed, which were purchased at different nurseries and planted by me, are flourishing. After many attempts to have the tree replaced, I was told they only guarantee plants they plant, which was not indicated on the bill of sale. So now I have a $400 dead tree which needs to be replaced.

They jerked me around for months telling me to wait and see if the tree recovered then when it finally dies I here that there is no guarantee. Daub's did offer a 50% discount on a replacement tree but I would have to be crazy to spend more money with them for a replacement with no guarantee.

Don't subject yourself to the bad awful business practices at Daub's and shop at one of the many other nurseries that stand behind the products they sell with a guarantee.

Would never go to this nursery again. Owner was rude and prices were high. Quality was not as good as nearby nurseries.
