Ann Arbor's Structural Chiropractor. As you know, most chiropractors focus on reducing muscular tension, increasing range of motion, and providing temporary relief of pain. While that is all well and good, at Canopy Chiropractic we take things a step further. At Canopy Chiropractic, we focus on an area of chiropractic called NeuroStructural Correction. This approach is different in that our focus is directed toward the underlying instability of the spine, which is typically the root cause of many secondary conditions (symptoms) that could very well be traced back to instability of the spine and impingement of the spinal nerves. Secondary conditions like poor posture, muscular imbalance, ear infections, colic, enuresis, torticollis, toe walking, neck and back pain are the conditions most commonly referred to our practice, typically from other healthcare professionals or chiropractors who have not been successful with their plan of care. We also receive a number of referrals from doctors ranging from obstetricians to pediatricians who are not looking for us to simply treat conditions, rather - understand the importance of spinal structural stability (not just alignment) and an unobstructed nervous system. Our practice uses specific chiropractic techniques unique to NeuroStructural Corrective care - allowing us to offer our patients highly-effective, gentle adjustments.
