I visited the restaurant with a very good friend of mine that drove over an hour so we could eat there. I had never sat down and ate there before, only had take-out, which had always been pretty good. I was extremely disappointed with the service and our food. Our server never once came to see if we needed anything after she brought us the relish tray. However, she did notice our drinks needed refilled. Both myself and my friend ordered the Redwood Special cooked medium. My daughter ordered the fresh cut tenderloin. We didn't get our food for close to 45 minutes. My friend's steak was cooked correctly, mine was rare. The server never once came back to our table after she delivered our food to us except to bring us our check, which was $80 for 3 of us, and even then she never asked us how our meal was. There was absolutely no flavor to the steaks at all. I honestly have had better steaks cooked on the grill at home. I was extremely disappointed, considering that I thought this is what The Redwood was known for.
