hired Pete Mudd to dig a simple 50' perimeter drain around my house. He quoted me 2 days to finish, but almost 4 weeks later it is still unfinished. He never showed up on time, and would often arrive at 3pm (or later) to start his work day - working until 9pm some nights (and disrupting my family's evening at home). I normally would have asked him not to arrive so late but I wa worried about the project nver being completed so I kept quiet. He left cigarette butts in my yard, his backhoe to leak oil in my yard (chich killed grass), he left a giant hole in my yard for 3 weeks despite my constant nagging for him to complete the job. Avoid this guy at all costs!

Very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. I hired Pete Mudd to do a job he quoted me at 2 days to finish. It was still incomplete after a month! He left a huge hole in my yard for 3 weeks, despite my constant nagging to get the project finished. He left his backhoe to leak oil on my lawn (killing the grass) despite pleading with him to move it. I also found cigarette butss all over my yard (yuck!). If you are considering using this guy, don't. If you still need convincing, have him come out for a free estimate and see how late he is. I regret ever meeting this guy, and the hassle just isn't worth it.
