Dave and Laura Ownby, married 23 years, have been in Alaska since the early eighties. Dave is a FAA certified airframe and power plant mechanic turned fabricator. Laura is a Registered Nurse mom and general manager for the Ownby clan. Tag-A-Long Trailers AK perviously know as Tag-A-Long Trailers Inc was purchased in April of 2001 from Marge & Bill Kanerva. We moved it to Anchorage near our home and the whole family got involved. Dave makes the trailers, along with the help of his shop foreman, Billy Hawes. Laura watches over Amy, the middle daughter, who works in the office handling all of the paperwork. She is proud to be Tag-A-Long's new Office Manager. She also runs errands, shipping off the trailers and with the help of her sisters, Sarah and Lizzy. Together we make Tag-A-Long Trailers of Alaska the specialty trailer buisness it is today. We look forward to serving you! It has been asked for, for years and we are finally introducing our Alaskan walking beam axle to our great line of off-road trailers. It is available to replace a tandem axle or can be used as an add-on to any single axle trailer.
