Good layout, actually a very strong layout, fair enough off the tee, but challenging on approach to the greens, and a great set of par 3's. Conditioning is generally good, the rates fairy, pace of play is the only problem here at times. Here's a good thumbnail of the course at the Forelinksters guide:

Worth the drive. Awesome layout. Beautiful Course in the middle of a city park with no houses, no car traffic, just you and nature. Monday thru Friday we played 18 or 36 with a cart and it included FREE Breakfast and Lunch, two soft drinks, and FREE replays. The food is all you can eat buffet style and pretty good. Look out for holes 3, 13, 14, and 17! Four of the best PUBLIC holes in St Louis. Pace of Play is the only concern but their players assistants work hard to keep everyone moving.
