Tarek M. Mekhail, MD, MSC, FRCSI, FRCSEd, is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology with a sub-specialty in lung cancer. Dr. Mekhail earned his medical degree at Cairo University in Egypt and completed both his residency and fellowship in hematology and oncology at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Dr. Mekhail is a national and international clinical investigator and presenter who has authored and co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, among others. He serves as the Medical Director of the Thoracic Oncology Program at AdventHealth Cancer Institute and is an associate professor at the University of Central Florida.
