Catherine Hwang, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who primarily treats patients with breast, head and neck, gastrointestinal, prostate and gynecologic cancers and is one of our area’s foremost providers of 3-D conformal radiation therapy. A noted researcher whose work has focused on novel treatments for prostate cancer and glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumors, she actively participates in clinical trials. Dr. Hwang is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also undertook her internship and residency training.
