Needed a single porta potty for an event we were having. Called on Monday to have it delivered for that Friday. Spoke with a very nice woman, told her what/when and where we needed, and was given a verbal quote. Specifically asked that they served the area, as it is a ways out from town. Told that it was not a problem. I even heard her ask someone in the background to double check. Great, see you Friday. Our association president called back on Thursday morning to provide them with a credit card only to be told that they don't service our area (which is clearly stated that they do in their ad AND I was told on the phone that they do) and if we still wanted the porta potty it would be an additional $200+ to have it delivered and picked up!!! When the association president called and told me what was going on, I called them to ask why this was just coming up now...why did they tell me one thing on Monday only to have the story change on Thursday! I explained that it wasn't my fault, that I had ordered in plenty of time and now I'm behind the 8 ball as to find someone else on such short notice. All they told me was that I could pay the additional fee or find someone else. Wow...that's service!! Needless to say, I had to spend the next hour trying to find an alternative...not easy on such short notice. I assure you, I will never recommend them to anyone (no worries about ever using them--they don't service my area) Don't advertise that you serve an area if you don't. Furthermore, when you make a mistake (as everyone does) at least try to fix the problem or offer assistance...especially when it's your fault and not the customers!! Don't leave a prospective customer hanging out to dry!!
