It was the day before my birthday party, and my oven decided it would stop heating. I needed service fast because more than 30 people would be at my home the next day. This awesome company understood how crucial it was for my repair to be made, and sent their awesome technician to my house to make the repair that night. And, he did just that, in less than one hour of time. The guy was very nice and friendly. I am beyond satisfied with the work that he performed. The price was also amazing. They made my party a success without costing me a lot of money. I am faithful to this company from here on out.

My refrigerator broke down and I was dreading going to a repair place because of all the stories of people getting ripped off. I was pleasantly surprised with how strait forward and honest the people were at American Appliance The staff are really friendly and they provided an estimate before doing any repair work. It was great to have a working refrigerator in 1 hour. They even gave me the broken components which gave me piece of mind regarding the work they did. The service cost was reasonable and I'm glad i went to them.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I only had a freezer problem. Had a tech come out & say it was my compressor. They sent another tech to come replace the compressor for $350 & it still didn't work. Not only did my freezer not work NOW my refrigerator doesn't work. They came out to replace the compressor again, still the same problem. The 3rd time I asked him to check for something else. I was told that the compressor was fine, it is now the condenser and that they wouldn't get the condenser until after Christmas. I was given the part #, found the part myself & had it next day aired that Friday. I was told that they could not come out to install it. I called another tech to see if he could help. He told me that it was not a new compressor & it was bad & the condenser was fine. The evaporator was the problem. He suggested because I had already paid this company, I should have them replace the compressor again with a new one & ask them check the evaporator first before installing the condenser. I had the tech come back out the 4th time to be told that he wasn't going to check the evaporator & that I should have had the other tech fix my refrigerator. I told him that I was just asking him to check it just to be sure & he still wouldn't. He would only replace the condenser or I could get a refund minus the labor. I told him that I would get a refund & was told to call the manager Robin after 8 pm. I called & a very rude man answered. I attempted to explain everything to him but was rudely interrupted several times, told that I didn't know what I was talking about & that he wasn't going to give me a refund because I still had his part & treated his tech like a slave. I told him that I never treated his tech like a slave I just asked him to replace the bad compressor for a new one, I asked if he could also check the evaporator just to be 100% sure & told him he can have his part back. This rude man continued to interrupt me & said that I was not getting a refund & hung up on me.

Horrible experience! Other than arriving on time, nothing else was good. My washer stopped working and called Forward Appliances for repair. The technician said that replacing the motor will make the machine run for another 10 years.
The service costed almost 300$. Now it is 4 months since the motor was replaced. The machine completely stopped working.What annoyed me the most was the customer service. I called to explain the issue. Immediately, the guy who answered the phone was very rude and said that the warranty is over and we cannot do anything about it.When I asked about the warranty, the guy said that it is only 30 days warranty. However, this was not mentioned during the time of service. The technician verbally said that the machine is good for 10 years and that at least for a year I will not encounter any issues at all. Anyway, long story short.... These guys are totally unprofessional and a rip off. I will never recommend them at all. Please don't waste your money on them.

HORRIBLE! Scanned me out of $80 for a microwave repair. It worked one time that day then broke again hours later. After contacting them, they blocked my husband's number after he asked for a refund. I called on my number and was told i would receive a $40 refund in the mail which never came. I tried calling back, and they blocked my number as well. These people are crooks! Mike is the repair man and has no clue what he is doing and Sam is the person on the phone that told me he would send me a refund. Never use this company!!!

THIS IS A SCAM...ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. I had a horrible ordeal with Forward Atlanta Appliance in which they ordered a part for a stove repair which the technician Max stated that the part would be available in 3 days. However, each time I called to follow up Max gave me numerous excuses each time that I called but the bottom line 17 days and still no part or service. I called the office and demanded a full refunded of the check that I gave the technician (which was cashed by them immediately). I talked with someone name Nancy and I faxed her the documents she requested. Nancy said that I also needed to speak with Robin (person that processes the refunds), however, Its been 5 days of calling Robin and leaving message and no one has returned my calls regarding my refund.

IF I COULD RATE ZERO I WOULD . I called for a repair on my dryer it would not heat. The repair man came and put a new heating element in ( which took a week to get )which they charged me $250. In the process the repair man broke the switch for the door, then took a week and 1/2 to get the switch that still didn't work. Then said it must be the mother board. Which would cost me $500. Then was told he couldn't fix it. And I would get a refund of $200. Still haven't received the refund after a month. Sam the owner said I would need to fax a copy of my check. Which my bank fax not once but twice. Once to Sam and Also to Robin which I was told she and Sam are the ones that give refunds. Sam has told me he didn't received the faxes from my bank which has confirmation of both. So not only am I out a dryer. Also out $200.00 and the repairman took ALL the parts with him. He was disrespectful not only to me but to my wife and also hung up on her. Sam does not have business ethnics. BEWARE!!!!

BEWARE of this company!! I contacted myappliancerepairman.com concerning my refrigerator. They sent someone out from Forward Inc. that told me my condenser needed to be cleaned and it would be $300. Sounded high, but he convinced me to get it done after telling me that I would have to buy another refrigerator if the work wasn't done. It took him about 20 minutes to do the work. $20 minutes for $300 with no parts and he had the nerve to complain that it was taking too long when I started asking questions!! The problem came back and I just had another company come out that fixed it for $95 and spent 2 hours. He told me I got totally ripped off and this company bent a part which is why it broke again. Total Rip Off!!!!

Recently the ice maker stopped working on my Subzero fridge. I didn't plan on getting it fixed, but then the outer shell started sweating. I called this appliance repair company and they were great! They were very professional on the phone and in person. They were very helpful in scheduling a time that was convenient for me and worked around my abnormal work schedule. They also told me ahead of time about how long the service would take. This was great because I have had workers in my house before and was never sure of how long they would be there. It makes it very hard to plan the rest of your day or take the right amount of time off work. They really take the time to think of the customer first. They arrived promptly and were actually done before the estimated time. There were no hidden fees and everything works great now. I couldn't be happier with the service.

Don't waste your time calling anyone else. Wow! A real, genuine person who actually knows what he is talking about and is not out to take advantage of people. A real gem. Figured out my beat up fridge full of soon to be rotting groceries in a minute and came with parts in hand to boot. No $100 just for showing up and then "Oh I have to order these parts and come back" nonsense. Gave me advice on how to avoid future problems. Even hooked me up with some epoxy to fix an unrelated item. Most definitely worth every dollar. Even better— not as many as I was worried about and been taken for in the past. And did I say same day?!? Brilliant. Real old-school pride of service is a perfect description.

Wish I could give them a - star. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. These people are rude, dishonest, and nasty. Came out to repair my refrigerator 4 times. Scratched my wood floors in the process didn't even apologize. They never fixed it! The last time my husband kicked the nasty tech out of our house. I don't think they know how to repair anything they just want money. I will never use them and have put this awful company on my neighborhood site.

HORRIBLE. NEVER USE. HORRIBLE!! They seriously damaged our floors & walls. The repair guy used a hammer on our floor to hammer parts together. We stopped him and he went outside. He muddied the floor so badly we couldn't see how bad the floor was damaged. He smelled so bad my wife almost threw up from 20' away. He slid the washer all over the floor gouging the floor badly, and he slid it across gouging it even more. When he crawled behind the washer, he smashed the washer into a wall, damaging the wallpaper. He also gouged paint on the doors trying to washer carry the drum though the doorway. And he deeply dented the door and frame. After the guy left, we had to mop the floor and wash down the walls and door. We noticed all the damage. We called the company 5 times trying to report the damage. The girl who answered the phone refused to let us speak to the manager. I tried calling today (Sunday) and she refused again. I insisted to speak to the manager. Finally she put me through. When I told the manager what happened, he yelled and called me a liar. I told him that he should apologize and try to resolve the problem. Instead he yelled and said he refused to do anything. I told him that I will come to his office to resolve it if he refuses to deal with it. He threatened me. I told him we can simply sue them for damaging the kitchen and he threatened us again. Then he slammed the phone. I called back and he slammed the phone again. We are stuck with damaged walls, damaged floor, dented doors, dented door frames and damaged wallpaper. DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Zero stars would be fine

Over the years, I've had them come in to look at my oven, to fix my dishwasher, and to fix my dryer. Each time the service is prompt and professional, and the prices are reasonable When they fix a part, it stays under warranty from them for a year - which they're conscientious about.

They're a real neighborhood gem. I'm glad I found them.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I used this company in December to fix a washer spin issue. They came out and it was $150 worth of work. It stopped spinning again in January so I called and the same tech came back out only to tell me all of the sudden there are more issues ( which would be more money). I needed to change a dirty hose, but it was doing the same thing! My receipt said I had 120 days warranty, yea not so much. I called the company office numerous times to only be told the owner was out of the state and the manager was never in. I tried to call the tech, Alex, on his cell and never got a response and his voicemail was always full so I stopped payment on the check. Needless to say I finally got in touch with the owner and instead of even talking to me about the issues and the fact that he didn't hold up to his warranty he is threatening me with court. He just kept repeating tell it to the judge and hung up on me. He was so rude, obviously not his first time. I ended up having to get a new washer not even a month after his company came out to fix my washer. I will send the money back to the thieves. I thought the owner would do the right thing if I could talk to him. I had dates, times, etc, but he wouldn't even listen to me. I want others to know what type of company this is. DON'T USE THEM! THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST!! STAY AWAY!!

Garbage outfit. Came to repair a front-loader washing machine and replaced a drain pump...reasonable. $285. Reasonable. Washed 3 loads and quit. NOT reasonable. Made two, two hour window appointment that were missed. Made a third that was missed and responded hours later after an angry phone call. NOT reasonable. Ordered the "right" pump for that machine instead of generic. Reasonable. Missed the first appointment. Came a day later and an hour after promised. NOT reasonable. Worked when he tested the pump, but couldn't make it ONE load. Have not seen him since. Requested they refund the $285 and they could have the machine. They required a letter be sent to request the refund. Haven't heard back in two weeks. NOT reasonable. On my way to Magistrate to file a small claim.

Run far, far away from this outfit! Tech came and said "Control Panel", didn't say much else. Needed a $50.00 deposit for part. Came next day to replace, said it was fixed, charged me an additional $230.00 and left. Within 5 minutes it started beeping and giving the same error message. I called the tech right back and he said he'd come back tomorrow. I said NO, come back now, please. Then he said two hours. I haven't seen or heard from them in two days. Luckily, I had quickly stopped the check. Called to let them try to make it right. Not ever going to happen. Grace was rude, spoke over me, and then hung up on me. Flimflam artists. They should not be allowed to do business in GA and I do plan to follow up with the GA Sec of State. Shame on Yellow Pages for even allowing them to advertise.
