Worst customer service around. Jacked up price for part 500%. Rocky refused to let me return it. Actually said "I didn't force you to buy it from me". Cares more about gouging me than earning a customer.

Steve Johnson, I have purchased different products from Stub's over the years. I have always been treated with courtesy and fast service. They are a fine dealer.

Be very careful around these guys. I helped my dad purchase an Alumacraft boat from a different dealer in the cities due to price and package. Once Rocky heard about this he blew a gasket and won't even service my dad's boat out of spite.

Scary scary.

Worst customer service I've ever seen. I had a safety recall on my outboard motor last fall and tried to make an appointment to have it fixed. I was told they won't fix it because I didn't buy it from them. If I wanted to wait until this spring they would fix it. Three weeks ago I made an appointment to have it fixed. When I showed up for my appointment, they refused to fix the safety recall (fire hazard). I called Yamaha motors and asked them if a dealer could refuse to fix a safety recall. They said no. I went back and talked to the owner and he told me to take the motor somewhere else, again because I didn't buy the motor from him. As I left he tossed the paper work at me and I left. I hope you consider this type of customer service at this dealership. I'm actually writing a formal complaint about this dealership to Yamaha Motor.

Do NOT waste your time or mone...

Do NOT waste your time or money, this place is HORRIBLE! We waited THREE weeks and when we picked our boat up they didn't even fix things we asked them to, they didn't call us with updates and when we did pick it up they told us they didn't write down on the form what we had asked them to fix all they had to replace was a engine starter and they said it ran perfect. We put it in the water it wouldn't start, we asked a friend to come with us to see if it was US since it was our first boat and it was the battery cables we called STUBS and they are saying since we had it a week its OUR fault and will not fix it unless we PAY FOR IT well please help me make them PAY FOR IT by not taking your business to them and watch them SINK!

Very poor service department. Service manager was profane and cruel. Sales man...the owner's son, was rude and unprofessional. They do not care about their customers. It is worth the drive and time to go somewhere else. I will never buy from them or recommend them.

Extremely poor costumer service and inferior workmanship.

Stub's Marine rebuilt the engine on my jet boat in June of 2005. After 15 hours of use the engine blew up. I took it back to Stub's and they took it partially apart and said it was due to my not winterizing the boat properly. I took it to another marina where they tore the engine down completely and found that when it was rebuilt, the mechanic at Stub's had not torqued down the bolts that hold the bearing cap on one of the lower piston rod bearings. The bearing had fallen apart, with the needles from the bearing lodging between the piston and the block which in turn cracked the block allowing water to enter the block and causing the rust that they said was due to not winterizing properly. The other marina said that you can see where the bolts scored the block as they backed themselves out. I brought the boat back to Stub's and explained everything and showed them the evidence of the poor repair. I had paid $3300 to have the engine rebuilt in 2005. The owner said they would not fix it.
