Child Protection & Family Services are provided by the office of community services that is part of the Louisiana Department of Social Services. The office conducts investigations for child abuse and neglect. It offers the Continuous Quality Improvement solutions for management and workers. The office s family services address the problems of neglect, as well as promote the safety of the children within the family units. It also maintains the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund that creates the prevention plans for child abuse.
