RAC -The company that insists the customer should do the job for them.

This Albuquerque branch of the company has quite the grift going on. They take money as well as your possessions from other carriers while they pose as a final destination delivery service and refuse to deliver, forcing you to come up with a plan to make your own delivery.

I've lived in the same house for over twenty years, and I've purchased many large items from furniture to appliances and beyond and RAC in Albuquerque is the only company that has ever failed to deliver a large item to my home, in fact they are the only company that has ever whined, complained or even suggested that a delivery can't be done.

My advice if you are thinking of using them is to find a way around them, even if you need to spend more upfront, believe me when I tell you, it will cost you far less in both time and money at the end of the day. I would go so far as to urge any company you purchase a large item from to make sure RAC in Albuquerque never touches your items at any point in the delivery process. I would strongly recommend anyone needing delivery service to seek out professionals who know how to get the job done. RAC in Albuquerque is little more than a overpriced and glorified storage unit where you can pick up your own deliveries.

this company is to be avoided like the covid. i have never, in my 70 years, dealt with a more unprofessional, uncaring company. if i ran my business like this i would be out of business in a week. no one answers the phone at the depot. the head office can't reach a truck driver for days on end. offices in different cities do not respond to other offices emails or calls. should i go on? pathetic.

Can I give Zero Stars? Their driver hit and damaged a long section of brick wall in our neighborhood and RAC will NOT owe up to it. Apparently, they feel the neighborhood should pay for the Property Damage they Admittedly caused. From this experience, in my opinion, Do not under any circumstances use this company. You may regret it like we do.

Horrible, Tony in will call is rude, mean, doesn't care about your freight, his claim to me was it was his freight, would not let me check the freight claimed it was against federal law which is a LIE. Stay away from this company. My freight was damaged, left in the sun, fork lift holes in the box. BAD . Will never use this company again. Will be filing a formal complaint against them.

RAC transport has horrible service, rude and hateful people working for this company. You want your shipment DAMAGED go with RAC... be prepared to be told off and belittled by the drivers and manager, they make there own hours it dont matter if it says open till 4 they will close at noon and forget your perishable shipment in the truck for 4 DAYS!!! THEY could care less about costumers, they are rude and hateful, horrible costumer service, items come damaged, go with another provider. This place needs to go out of business and fast.

If you have another choice, take it. Ship on the 5th of month, arrived at terminal and web site said scheduled for delivery on 15th of month and said they would call for appointment. Finally on the 17th I called them and they said yes we have it, will you be available on the 19th between 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. I said yes, I will stay home. Finally at 4:30 PM I called and got story that they forgot to put it on a truck & could deliver it on the 23rd. Another day wasted.

Rac Transport in Albuquerque, NM, is the MOST unprofessional work place I have ever seen!!

They have drivers pulling in front of drivers with no care, the work place always has pallets and trash all around. The employees..... The employees are very much immature! I seen a man who said he was a Manger busy with one of the receptionist NOT working. I am sure the Job title does not include hooking up. I had a friend that was also employee there, If you didn't get your package it's most likely because one of the guys there stole it. They have no Video Servalence or manager watching the doc workers or drivers. They smoke while working, and have put employees in danger by pulling forklift drivers off the Dock without checking their load before leaving!!! Each co-worker including the mangers get into your personal life instead of making a better work environment. They even cut your hours without you knowing, and Some employees will be on the clock and not on even at work. If Albuquerque site is a reflection of the entire company then it's not a company you want handling your freight at all! Very unprofessional! Someone needs to call OSHA as well because they don't care about safety. Do not work for or use this company! They will say they will pay u higher and still only get a 600 paycheck for over 90 hours. I hope this place gets shut down sooner or later... . Or fire every employee including management and hire professionals!
